Some of the companies I have worked for in the past include Lancaster University (my post funded by UKERNA), Demon Internet (London), Thus plc (London), Level3 (London), Firstmark Communications (I was based in Hanover, Paris, Madrid and Luxembourg), Lambdanet (Hanover), FLAG Telecommunications (London) and Tunisia Telecom (Tunis).

I was a member elected Director of LONAP Limited from April 2004 until May 2006, where I held the posts of Finance Director, Events Manager and "Walking, Talking Billboard for LONAP" all at the same time. LONAP is an extremely successful and stable not-for profit Neutral Internet Exchange based in London.

In addition, between April 1999 and April 2006 I held the member elected post of Policy Advisory Board Member at Nominet. Nominet are the .uk domain registry.

I have also held the member-elected post of co-Chair of RIPEs Local Internet Registry Working Group (which discussed and implemented policies on IP Addressing within Europe)

Below is a list, with brief descriptions of the companies and organisations I am currently involved with. I also list my involvement in them.

The governing body for UK ENUM (+44 country code when mapped to Internet DNS, primarily for VoIP purposes) and is a member-based not-for-profit organisation. UKEC is recognised by BERR (The Department of Business Enterprise and Regulatory Reform, formerly the DTI) to govern and provide oversight for ENUM in the UK (Read as regulator for ENUM, but also note the lower case "r" in the word). The board position is elected by the membership. We work closely with Nominet who are the UK Tier1 Registry and will be working with registrars, number authorities and end-users (in terms of ENUM policy).

A wholesale provider of network connectivity, supplying multi-homed IP Transit and Data Centre services along with related network consultancy.

Cyberstrider Limited (Founder & Chief Executive Officer)

An Internet Services Provider. Cyberstrider started life as my sole-trade business back in 1993 as an internet based software distribution and registration organisation. In 1996 it started providing web hosting services. It incorporated as a company in 1999. Cyberstrider continues to provide services such as 'off the shelf' web hosting, mail hosting and domain registration however its main strength is in providing bespoke Internet services tailor-made to the customers own requirements.

A not-for-profit, member based neutral Internet Exchange.

An open forum for enhancing and improving operational, technical and engineering information exchange related to backbone networking technologies and practices through collaboration.

RBIEX (Member-Elected Council of Management Member)

A not-for-profit, member based neutral Internet Exchange based in Redbus Interhouse. It currently caters for Redbus Interhouse customers based in London, more specifically the small providers that can not afford the fees of the other Internet Exchanges.

Not started operations yet. In the Internet/Networking industry.

Professional Services company that provides: Business and Management Consultancy; IT, Internetworking and Telecommunications Consultancy; Back Office Management; Event Management Consultancy and Operations; and Life Coaching

Training company focussing in Customer Service, Retail and Motivational training to NVQ standards. The company also provides support for the diagnosis of and provides effective training for adults with Dyscalculia.

Inner Healing Limited (Non-Executive Director)

Providing complimentary and holistic therapies across London. Therapies include Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic Treatments, Indian Head Massage, Yoga, Reiki, Reflexology.

Adora Properties (Partner)

Buying and selling properties and land in southern Spain. The organisation also helps with sourcing temporary accomodation and has good relationships with builders, decorators, designers and various furnishing suppliers.

Currently consists of three arms - Investments, Ventures and Serendipity

Usurp (Committee Member)

Develops greater opportunities for artists and activists from diverse backgrounds and marginalised communities to create and present a dynamic range of experimental work with a specific emphasis on exploring the possibilities of new media communication technologies for collaborative working within the arts.
